Hi Abel. I'm trying to keep up with blogs as they're created; thanks for noting the quick blogroll addition.

This is a good start to a list. Which of these has a physical group in Blacksburg (or nearby) that you could actually visit and interview? Have you checked to see if there is a cooking club either on campus or somewhere in Blacksburg?

Choosing the cooking club in Centreville (I'm guessing this is where it is) isn't out of the question at all, as long as you can get back to do a site visit and interview. We'll be doing those in the next few weeks.

Hi Abel, I'm glad you checked out my blog.

It seems we have quite a number of interests in common. I'm an avid cyclist, I cook dinner semi-daily (which you must know can be an inconvenience in a dorm with a locked kitchen), and I've spent some hours on crosswords in a traveling vehicle.

Still, I can't help but feel some antagonism from your comment. Although appreciated, I would urge your editorializing to caution. We sometimes vehemently criticize that which we seek to repress in ourselves.

In other news: I'm pretty excited because I'm starting a cooking club here at Tech. I figured I'd let you know. Send me something if you want some more info.

Cheers,
Travis
